A year ago on January 12, 2010 a massive earthquake struck Haiti. Haiti one of the worlds poorest countries took a major hit after this quake. Being an underdeveloped country, the damage and lives lost was great. Hundreds of thousands of people were injured and killed and over a million were left homeless. Many countries including the US did a lot to reach out while this was still fresh on our minds. However, I think now we somewhat forgot about Haiti and we shouldn't have. We still need to do everything we can as a country to assist in rebuilding this country. So, I say on the anniversary of this tragedy let's remember and still do our part to help.
