HIGHER LEARNING!

I strongly support furthering your education. In today's world you can't do anything with a high school diploma. For the average person you really have no choice but to go after a college education. Of course it's not the easiest thing to do but it's what our youth need to do...GET EDUCATED! With that being said, you all know how close HBCU's are to my heart and it's about that time for the yearly black college tours. I'm such a believer that every African American should have that HBCU experience, even if it's not for the entire undergrad...or even if it's it for grad school. From the professors, the culture, activities, life long friends you meet, networking, etc...it's a once in a lifetime experience! There are three black college tours that will be leaving from the metro Detroit area this year...how exciting! If you know any high school juniors (or even seniors...although it may be pushing it for Fall 2011 semester) that have an interest in attending an HBCU pass this info along!!!
